Day 5...

On the weekend, I went to see my friend Sabine who has the dog refuge here. She comes from Germany and set up her dog charity here in Tiszaigar last year. So we are both expats arriving in a foreign land at about the same time.
She also makes anything one can make by hand and also cooks a great cake! Very talented lady for sure.
After checking out her dogs and lands, she bought 3 houses and lands next to each other...I went for a wander around that end of town I didn't know existed...yet!
Found a nice park, a kids playground and lots of well kept homes.
It was a nice afternoon with a few clouds around, but still light enough to get some nice pics.
Pretty snazzy park setting for sure!
There's even a local mechanic across from Sabine's properties too!
This is a clean and pretty village.
Just blooming away on its own on the footpath!
I love it that there is no curb and channeling...it ruins the romance of a village I think.
Testing out the new camera today. It's not as good an all round camera as the old one as you could take pics into the sun and even at night, all without doing anything to the settings. But it's very good for now. I'll get used to it. Thanks Paul and Dylan. Certainly takes a better shot though.
Another little park on the corner.
Testing shots into the sun...not so good.
About 9 inches away...not too bad.
The cutest little bus stop in the world.
A bit closer...
Behind the bus stop...
Heading back to home now...
The footpath not far from my place...
My garden...
Oskars bought me these. I always wanted some of these amazing plants. They grow into a round shape with no pruning and if they didn't bloom a little more each day, you'd think they were plastic!
And finally, SpongeBob and a water snail, bid you a fond farewell from the other end of town. The Minions welcome you at the other end, so will get some fresh pics of them in a few days.

  1. It is a better camera, and once you learn all it can do you'll love it, it all takes time.
    Lovely photos!
