Days 10, 11, 12, 13 & 14...Rain, Rain, Rain

One little fwustwated bunny wabbit here...

It's been raining, well drizzling the strange way it does over here, for just on a week...but you can walk in it and not really get wet.

Anyways, to-day the sun shone for a few hours on and off and as Zoltan had just finished his long haul jobs in Budapest, he started work here. Now we can get things moving in the right direction.

He put the last window in the end room really fast and that seals it off for winter, so now I can transfer all the furniture that needs restoring into that room and start to get the place into shape at last.
Part of the end room...
All sealed up at last...the final rendering is to be applied tomorrow.
During this next week they'll complete the septic tank, build a cement cover for it, build a cement edge under the back fence and then it's finally bathroom floor time.

Am trying to squeeze in a 2nd shower to the 2nd loo area, but no matter how I configure the room, I can't make it fit the way I want it. The existing window gives a nice light effect in the bathroom now and with the 2 loos and just one shower, it looks spacious and airy and light.

When I add the 2nd shower, it changes the whole feel and look of the room, so I'm at a loss as to where or even if I should provide a 2nd shower just now.

The 2nd loo position is fine and also acts as a powder room so future guests won't have to go right through the place to the other end of the building to visit the loo. We'll just have to build the end room's E/suite in the new section later on, I guess.

Getting excited that I'll soon have an inside loo, because then I can invite people here to visit.
All excited about getting the stove before Xmas too...never thought about using it just standing hooked up to the electricity in a corner until the kitchen window is cut in and the chimneys all lined and sealed in March next year.
The end in sight...
Now my long awaited window seat being finished...
The final rub down before the final coat...
Even the neighbour is happy...
Now the septic pit is being cleaned out as we'd only had a small hole dug by the bulldozer earlier on in the year.
The flowers are still happening!
Oskars bought these for me...lovely as they are blooming...
The 2nd pot of these amazing flowers from Oskars...

That's it for now...
