Weird times for sure.
It is such strange weather...the sun shone for the last month, virtually non-stop, then next morning, a week ago, it snowed for a few hours, only to melt as quickly.
Then the fogs set in, the clouds stayed around all day and only today the sun broke through for a few minutes, signifying what?
I can't work these strange happenings out at all!
Anyways, it is all good here regardless and one thing is sure...Xmas is just a month away!
Wow, can you believe that?
30 more sleeps and it is Xmas.
What are you doing for Chrissy this year?
A big roast chicken, turkey, lamb, pork with crackle and all the delicious roast veggies that make up a real Christmas dinner...or maybe a cold meat salad?
Am not quite sure yet, but possibly will stay on in Belgrade after the 23rd and spend it with friends down there...and cook up an Aussie storm for whoever is around that day.
Imre started work back inside this last week, as it was drizzling outside most of the week.
He gouged out the track for an outside weather proof power point and a couple more inside in the end room for the iron etc.
I save little jobs like that for him for wet weather days...it works well.
He starts work again on Wed as he has to take his wife to the clinic in Debrecen on Mon and Tuesday, so it will be Wednesday when he gets started back on the cottage...if the weather is fine.
Found a good sewing lady last week, so took in a few things for her to hem up, then if they turn out OK, I'll get a few more things adjusted. Hopefully I then can get all that needs fixing done and get everything, like curtains and so on, done by Spring as I sort through all the things here now.
Imre has another wet day job now...that is to put shelves in one of the wardrobes for use as a linen cupboard.
We go hunting next week for dressed timber for the front room floor...that is going to be interesting as he did not want to do it last year and we ended up using the rough sawn timber I'd bought, on lots of other jobs, so it did not go to waste.

All done with bale number one...with the rain this past week, it is really flat and should start to decompose soon... |
Heading into town soon to visit friends...it is raining again, therefore no outside work to-day!
All good here,
Cheers and take care,
Love to all,
M
i don't know if it is like it is here, right after a rain we get a quick growth, then it calms again. Looks like the property is coming along pretty well! I wish you will during your holiday travels.
