The Sight of 100,000 Candelebra...

Just took a bus trip to town 8 klms away and it was beyond belief!
If you look closely you will see all the upright candle looking sticks, covered in snowflakes at the very top of the trees. The poplars were unbelievable, but I could not capture them. Too hard from a moving bus.
The sun was shining in just the right spot, a light fall of snow during the night had made the existing snow more fairytale like and the sight of 100,000 candelabra, all standing upright and glistening from the tops of the trees was a sight to behold indeed.

It was overwhelmingly beautiful and brought a lump to my throat and tears to my eyes.

Such beauty.

A bit more detail, thru the sunny lenses and on close up...racing past in the bus. But you can imagine the edges of the roads and lanes, full of this spectacle. I wish it was easier to photograph for you.
I could not see them clearly against the milky blue sunny sky, but as soon as I put on my sunnies...what a sight to behold!
I took a pic thru the lens of the sunnies to try to capture it as we sped past in the bus, so that is the best I could bring you.

Can't wait to get my car now and stop and take the pics like this as desired.
Pretty awesome actually...
Went to town to get Imre some sanding rolls for the sander as his car is broken...needs a new engine, so was very delighted to do this message today!
On the walk up to the bus stop...
The once mossy and green fence now is adorned in its winter garb...
City park is sunny, but a bit uninviting to-day!
Soaring towards the heavens...
That's a typical  conifer at the moment here...totally too Xmassy not to notice!
Walking down town to see my friend in her little gift shop down at the end of the street. The green signs are the chemist shop.
Across the square where the Xmas markets were....

Guess which puppy this one is? Dora, the Explorer of course!
All good here...have almost organised the work for the next 3 months with Imre working 3 days a week until April when I review things again.

Hoping to get rid of 2 of the pups in the next 2 weeks, then I'm afraid I'll have to give Dog away too as I simply can not and will not go thru the dramas of having to find dog sitters etc every time I want to go away for a few days.

I want to go to Vienna in a few weeks time and was going skiing, but Dog and pups are here, so it is very obvious something has to give...and it is not Vienna!

It is just too much hassle...summer is OK, but as winter really lasts about 6 cold months when animals probably need to come inside...I'm not choosing to have animals inside, therefore...no animals. Sad, but true.

Am off to Budapest with friends on Thursday...Putin will be in town,(Budapest) so that will be interesting indeed.

So, until next week...cheers and see you all then.
