Beautiful weather over here in Europe...I wonder if it has anything to do with the brakes being put on the chemtrails in a lot of places???
Anyways, it has been a very beautiful Autumn here, one I can not ever remember experiencing so joyfully.
Great news...it seems the guys working on the cottage are going to work through until completion???
They are doing a very professional job of which I am very appreciative and extremely impressed with. (The cost per night for accom just went up $50 bucks a hit!)
The 2nd gable end on the cottage is almost completed... and on Monday, when they bring the scaffolding back, they will build the brick bit in above the new window they put in on Saturday.
Then, when they finish that, they will put on the "hoolio"...(the plastic type mesh and black, expandable goop to hold it together) or whatever it's called, and render the entire new gable wall.
After they complete all that, they will complete the rendering of the downstairs, which they started the other day. Then I hope they can put in the front door and front window in a few weeks time.
After that, the roof and ridge capping, gutters etc, have to go on...
That means the cottage can then be "locked up" as they say in OZ.
Hehehe, then the exterior only has to be rubbed back and painted after winter, in March next year.
A neighbour (who had a fabulously loaded fig tree of which I very quickly unloaded for them!!!), has 400 of the exact roof tiles I need for the front of the cottage...I need 400 tiles!
Once they complete all the above, they start on the flooring upstairs so they can do the ceilings/walls up there...complete with insulation...so a lot still has to be done.
Anyways, am happy it is all moving along at last.

I have to post them to someone from my phone, onto messenger first, then snapashot them onto my computer from messenger on my computer, then load them to my blog from my desk top!
Anyways, will be visiting the big city soon and will get a camera, finally.
I am going well here...apart from chopping into the top off my left thumb and almost decapitating the bulby part, yesterday!
Can't believe how sharp Hungarian knives are!
Blood everywhere...Lots of it...and a messy cucumber bites the dust...
"Hold it high and press hard, Mary...and stop shaking your head"...a voice inside me said.
After about 5 mins when the shock had worn off...I ventured a look..
Bad idea.
So, with one hand held high and tight for another few mins, I eventually managed to apply 2 elastoplast strips and after a while, gingerly went about my day again...with a small plastic all purpose glove on.
All good today. Had to change the strips as I accidentally got them wet... in the shower...who'd a thot?
It bled again, so will be more careful for this coming week.
