Ain't My World Grand ...

All good things come from your mind, I'm sure!

A sunny day can either be a wondrous occasion or a disaster...depending upon your outlook.

Einstein once said that everything is vibrations...

What you intend (think) in your heart you send vibrations out, regardless of if you know it or believe it or not, but the universe reciprocates on the vibrational level and brings you back what is on that level...

Today, Saturday 7th Oct 2017 was wonderful.

The clouds did what they were supposed to do...without NATO up there ejecting chemtrails in the sky or doing stuff to change the weather etc.

If you don't believe this really happens...go check out some info on YTube...lots of it, so you don't just get a one sided opinion on it!
Australia was one of the world leaders in "making the non rain clouds rain, way back, early on...maybe 50 years ago!!!

Anyways, all that aside, it was a glorious week of sunny autumn days, coolish jogging mornings, but not cold enough for gloves or scarves, and simply beautiful sunny afternoons on the verandah, in the swing chair!

Here are the pics from a quick getting lost trip through Budapest on the way to Bokod, the floating village from a few weeks ago when I had a girl from OZ visiting for a few weeks...

Wow, the time sure is flying!

Check this off my bucket list now!  DONE!
Got lost in Budapest on the way to Bokod! hahaha...but nice, anyways!
Going across the Blue Danube river in Budapest on the way to the floating village in Bokod...
Ooops...lost!...and in a big city too!

Eventually, we found it...
Wow...
I want one of these!
Only $15,000 Ausd if you want to buy one...
Awesome!
So peaceful...
About 100 or so, fishing huts on the lake on the hydro electricity pond/lake!
People...and dogs...come and either live here... or rent for a period of time...@ $75 a night!
Loving it as an idea for something different...
Went walking around the area and found more little private jetty's
Melinda...
Melinda, an Aussie on a mission...
Another Aussie...on her own mission!
Hahaha...ye olde dunny!...and lots of them, hidden away in the trees and bushes!
Some have air con...i.e....no doors!
Some are modern... even with numbers!
Some have semi paved entrances...but this village is so well hidden in the bushes and off the main roads, you would never find it unless you knew what you were looking for and where to look for it!
A car drives right up to its jetty!
Amazing...Flowerpots and all!
Electricity...way out in the wops! Modern old fashioned...hahaha...
Actually, this is a private BBQ area...the "owner" is the person who has the little well kept hut on the right in the pic....
Had a chat with 2 guys...who were renting the nice hut on the right, for a week. They were locals . $75 Ausd a night!...in Hungary! Amazing...
Bendy walkways...a jetty... in normal language!
Just as we were leaving, a bunch of swans and ducks came to show off!
Must be lots of fish here...
How awesome is this?
So we headed off to look for the place on the road back to Budapest that you can get a quick glimpse of the amazing village from the main road...
We hit pay dirt...
Wow!
A fisherman's paradise.
Big fish...and lots of them due to the warm waters that never freeze...
Leaving our main target for the day...we went hunting for food... Nuttin'... Amazing...no take away places or anything for a hundred miles! Lots of just Beer places, but no take away or even eat in food places!
This is sort of how we felt!
It started to cloud over about 3 pm and we were getting hungry in Hungary!
Up and down the streets of the closest, biggest town we could find...nothing to eat!. Notice the sandstone details to the exterior of buildings.
Gosh...what does one do???
OK...let's have another try...
Be positive...look for the good stuff in everything!
Amazing! we found a pizza place...but had to buy drinkies from the place next door to sit at the tables outside... which belonged to another business...the pub! Pubs here do not sell food, only beer, No nuts, No chips etc, only beer....can you believe that? I usually ask for champers or bubbly and normally, they only have beers...heaps of them. But at this one I struck it! But the funniest thing ever was he obviously had never sold a bubbly as he tried for 5 full minutes to twist the top off the bubbly. You have to take the foil off and untwist the metal clamp and pop the plastic popper-stopper! It was so funny watching the pub guy try and pull out the cork for 5 full minutes! Still laughing my head off! Normally this bubbly is about 500ft a bottle, or less,  in Tesco, but I paid 2,000 ft for it at the pub, so we could use their tables to sit and eat our pizza from the shop next door.  Normally, AUSD $2,50 a bottle, but I paid 10 bucks...Too funny...best entertainment ever!
Well, there ya go! Not like in OZ at all.
So, after a long period of time, we ate our pizza topping...well, that's all I eat...and we were on our way home...the whole 289 ++ klms!
Pretty little villages every few miles.
Autumn colours starting to glow in the late day sun...
Hard to capture the glow of golden colours in a fast moving car!
That was Bokod and a fast trip over the Blue Danube in Budapest on the way to a bucket list item on my list...called BOKOD...the floating village in Hungary.

All good here...lots of things going on now as we race to get the really big things completed by end October, before it gets too cold for paint to dry and cement to set!

Next blog will be our trip to beautiful Medieval Eger.

See you then,
Cheers and keep the faith and stay well,
Lotsa love,
Mary
