But I for one am not complaining.
Imre completed the basic repairs to the front and side of the house this week and now we await a nice couple of cloudy days so he can apply the render and topcoats to both areas.
Then he'll finally paint the exterior of the house, which means the verandah, pillars, gutters and eaves too.
Can't wait for that to eventuate.
Only a few pics this week as it all looks pretty ugly, to say the least.
I have been a real sloth this past 3 weeks, so nothing has been done inside, apart from making a lots of big boilers full of tomato chutney, tomato juice, plum juice, plum jam, plum puree and plum spread (that is like plum jam but has no sugar in it).
The elderberries I picked to make jam out of went mouldy after only a day in the heat of the week past, so I will make jam as soon as I pick the next lot.
Very excited as my fave musical is coming to USA and has just announced the cast for their American tour, so have been watching quite a bit of that this week...again and yet again...Never tire of ALW's masterpieces...
