This is going to be interesting...
Using the computer to write my blog...at least I can see the screen!...and the phone... where all my pics lurk in silence...to create my much loved blogs again.

Xmas decorations at the white goods store near Tesco. |
Really pretty, even in the daylight... |
Everywhere you looked there was something different... |
But, look at this fancy electric jug! $65.00AUSD |
Such cute decorations, all themed in blue and white... |
Too cute... |
In the main centre at Tiszafured... |
Found some sleds if the snow kept up...maybe next time! |
The sun sets on the week before Xmas, 2019...Shortest day of the year. |
Still nice weather... |
Sunrise and dribble on my kitchen window...still pretty though. |
Imre has started doing the entry floor tiles for this little hundred year old cottage...the look is important to set the mood. |
Up comes the lino...You can see a bit of the original floor tiles there in the spot where I had a dividing wall put in, then the lino, then it didn't look or feel right, so Imre shifted it back a tad...Perfect! |
Now to move the fridge out. It was OK by myself. I emptied it and walked it into the family room. Amazed myself actually! |
My Hungarian neighbour sold her home and offered to sell me this entire suite...which I had eyed off when I first saw it over 5 years ago! |
The woodshed roof leaked. So the boys fixed it in 2 days. Took off all the tiles...then... |
And then took off the old beams... |
While Imre was inside setting out and measuring out the new tile placement... |
So, up came the lino... |
He needed the lino at his place so was very careful not to tear it. Recycling at its best. |
All done...now to clean it up... |
It's going to look great, I think. |
Meanwhile the boys had made quite a mess outside with all the old roof timbers... |
Couldn't get them to put the timbers on their edge...the correct way...dohhh... |
Now my nice wood pile will stay dry anyways... |
Making progress. Amazing what a couple of men and a day can do! |
At the back of the wood shed. Will add height and length to the shed and roof area, in a year or so, to make a carport and potting area for the straw gardens. The finish at the back isn't a big thing for now. |
A foggy morning but the work goes on. |
A few of these around the paddock in Summer will be nice for guests... |
The girl at the supermarket had the prettiest watch on... |
Had 3 hay bales delivered before the weather became too wet and the ground too soggy to drive over. |
Have to undo one of the bales before the first snow comes and top up the 8 garden beds... So they can mulch down over winter. |
It took me a few days to straw up the gardens last year with one hay bale, but this year, I found how to roll those suckers over the gardens and save a bunch of effort...and straw getting in my singlet etc. |
One bale down. Another in April after planting the seedlings out. now to even the beds out and make sure all are neat. |
This is the big 4 seater curved lounge... |
Had to make room inside for it... |
Don't text and drive! |
That is enough for now...
This is a test drive, so am hoping it comes out OK.
I hope everyone had a great Xmas and New Year...even though these pics are all from before Xmas!
All good here,
Be safe and look after yourselves,
Cheers,
Lots of Love
Mary
