Well, here we were last week, running around outside in short sleeves and a day later we have 3 layers of jumpers and tops on, but still running around outside!
Amazing.
Anyways...all going good here...
Had an interesting encounter at the local store a few weeks ago.
I bumped into the past Acting Attorney General of USA, in a little Hungarian village shop!
I was totally shocked...but when I came to my senses much later on and did some investigative journalism, I decided it had a 100% chance of being him indeed.
We are about 100 or so klm from the Romanian Border and above that is Ukraine.
Rudy Guillani said to watch Romania as the past administrations crimes are revealed there, and to watch Romania, coming next.
Then I found a few articles asking what was Matt Whittaker doing in Kosovo and a video of his speech in Kosovo.
So, I figured he used that speech as a cover for more corruption investigations in eastern Europe, he could have easily come up from Kosovo, only 1,000 klm away, up through Hungary to Romania, just over the border here.
When done, he could then go onto Poland from there...which is only another 100 klm away...as I believe more past admin corruption is to be revealed emanating from within the deepstate implants there too.
He is a hunky one for sure. Not every day you see a person the same age(50 yrs old), same massive size, same lovely face, same height, same colouring, same shaved head, in your local village store!
And, same roll of "muscle" on the back of his neck. That clinched it for me.
But, more on that later. Found more pics of when the adorables from UK were here in Sept...
It was beautiful weather and we had a great time too.

Can you believe this was in September? Time flies so fast... |
Our local bus stop fountain... |
Couldn't resist this one! |
The kids did the second coat of paint to the trims...looking much better... |
Fooling around... |
France has its yellow vests...We have our yellow boots! |
Making the edging for the straw gardens... |
The edging boxes will go way down the end of the paddock, near the green house |
Serious stuff this screwing and hammering stuff... |
First one almost completed! |
I went to town while the kids did the edgings...looking for a specific tool...and found this cute bakery entry in a side street... |
More timber arriving... |
Jordan is a nice strong guy, thankfully! |
Back to work again... |
Pegging out the placing of the 8 bed edging boxes... |
Positioning them temporarily... |
All banged into the ground...with the 2 left over for when the pumpkins die off...Well done guys! |
Then they emptied out the toolshed to clean it out! |
We went for a boat cruise on the lake next day...but check out the tops of the fence posts! Old boots, painted and used as pots for plants! |
You can hire your own water slides! |
Great idea... |
Lots of drinkies this day...Even beer through a straw!!! |
Waiting for our guided boat tour around the lake for a bit over an hour. Was only 5.000 ft...25 Ausd...with a guide and included up to 5 people! |
So many private boats here... |
It goes on for ever... |
...and ever! |
...and ever... |
Then we hit the house boats areas... |
House boats tucked away up a water cul de sac! |
These are all of the trip... |
So well maintained too. |
As the summer officially ends on 26th August...everyone packs up and goes home...so most all the tents along the river sides are gone! |
This is a place I have been a few times...from the land side...this time from the river...much nicer! |
Very popular in tourist season from June through to 26 August! |
oops... |
The trip was peaceful, entertaining, calm and beautiful. One would say Perfect, actually! 60 to 80 mins is quite enough... |
More boats... |
Caravan land... |
Back to the house boats... |
I think I'd like a little one of these one day. |
All shapes and sizes! |
Drive your boat right in folks! |
nice hey? |
So many of them... |
More open...ish...water now... |
That's my little one...the plan for it. |
Cute as... |
Wishing he had a fishing line! |
Our Austrian guide...who spoke English... |
There we are... |
Lots of berths, so this place must be crazy in high season... |
Some fancy tents here...late stayers...Some look pretty permanent too. |
You name it...they'll build it... |
Almost at the departure/arrival pier... |
Table top...a bit the worse for wear...but was made with hundreds of bottle tops... |
It has the best view of all though! |
This is the entrance to the harbour! |
A really fun day... |
Not too many roses this year... |
Best job in town in summer...fixing tiles in the fountain! |
Harvest in the fields...bales of hay everywhere in the distance. Out the bus window on the way into town... |
Back home as the sun sets on another perfect day in paradise... |
Almost done... |
Having a few nibblies before the evening meal... |
nice... |
That peach tree gives a lot of shade in summer. |
Testing out the new wardrobe addition to the front room... |
Flowers at the markets in town on Saturday early morning... |
The front room awaiting the next influx of guests... |
This was set up for a family of 5! |
Def the guy I saw... |
That "muscle " roll on the back of his neck, clinched it for me... |
You can see it was an easy trip, all the way up from Kosovo, through Bosnia, Croatia, Hungary, right up to the Romanian border, Ukraine, then Poland next. |
I looked up his height, but most sites don't have it, one had him at 5ft 8 ins...phooey to that. He is way over 6 ft tall...just look at him in videos etc. When I saw him in the shop I was a metre or so away from him and he towered over me. He certainly has a charismatic presence, that is for sure. One big muscled up guy!!! |
Anyways...it was fun to spot him...but it took about 3 weeks for it to sink in and recover from the shock of it. He has a very impressive presence and bearing for sure in a room.
So, now it's back to work again on the website for the lodge and all the prep needed to connect the booking platform and payment platforms to it all.
The cottage is coming along well. One of the guys had lots of dentist visits last week, but even with him going early and both guys being away for a few days, the 2 end gables are completed externally.
One gable has been fully rendered and finished ready to paint on the inside. Waiting now for the second one to be done, then the ceilings and insulation will go on, I think.
They also fitted some architraves for the front door and front window, so things are moving along nicely. All the exterior rendering is finished, but am waiting to collect the tiles from a neighbour, who works away a lot. Hoping to get the tiles this week sometime, so the boys can finish off the roof and seal the cottage up finally.
More next week...
Nice to spend a lovely rainy Sunday afternoon with you all again.
Cheers, and take care everyone,
M
